Bruce suffers Aluko blow and own fine

The Tigers striker suffered the injury during the warm-up last Saturday and was forced to miss the 1-0 victory over Sunderland.

A scan has now confirmed the extent of the damage, which manager Steve Bruce says is likely to keep Aluko out until January at the earliest.

Meanwhile, Bruce has been fined £10,000 and warned as to his future conduct over comments he made about referee Michael Oliver following his side’s 1-0 defeat at Barclays Premier League Tottenham on October 27.
