'Not doing so well' - Alan Shearer's Leeds United admission as prediction for Tottenham Hotspur clash shared

Alan Shearer has predicted the outcome of Leeds United’s meeting with Tottenham Hotspur

Premier League legend Alan Shearer has acknowledged Leeds United’s form has tailed off - but still believes they will wrestle a point from Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow (November 7).

Leeds are winless in five Premier League games, having lost two and drawn three since their 4-1 rout of Newcastle United on September 14.

Spurs, meanwhile, are turning a corner after a dismal start to the 2026/27 campaign.

Alan Shearer’s Leeds United prediction

Shearer told Betfair: “This should be a good game. Leeds are not doing so well at the minute. Spurs have found a bit of form, but Elland Road's a tough place to go. I'm going to go for a draw.

“I think he's got something going [Roberto] De Zerbi, he's got a little bit of belief there and you just need something to happen like the red cards for the opposition, but I wouldn't look too much into that. I think Spurs will be all right. I still think they need a forward, but I think it'll be a draw there, point apiece.

“De Zerbi has turned them around, but he needed to, and they've had to be patient, but he stayed calm. I think that's the most important thing.”

Leeds United team news

Leeds could be without Anton Stach and Noah Okafor, who have both seeing their preparations for the game interrupted by injury.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin also missed a session with a foot issue, but there is hope he could be fit enough to lead the line against Spurs.

Whites boss Daniel Farke said: “It's not the easiest situation at the moment especially offensive-wise, but we want to stay together and fight together and also make sure that in perhaps not the best situation, we still are able to dig in and grind out a result in this important game.”
