Is Oldham Athletic v Sheffield Wednesday on TV? Channel and streaming details ahead of FA Cup tie
The key TV and streaming details ahead of Sheffield Wednesday’s trip to Oldham Athletic
Sheffield Wednesday are set to visit Boundary Park to face Oldham Athletic in the first round of the FA Cup.
The fixture will mark the beginning of a new era for the Owls, who have installed Dave Challinor as their new manager having relieved Henrik Pedersen of his duties.
He will be in the dugout at Boundary Park, keen to ensure Wednesday dodge a banana skin in his first game at the Hillsborough helm.
Challinor said: “I'm really looking forward to it, more as my first real eyes on from a dugout position. There will be information we've given the players and we want to see how they can carry those things out.
“We know between now and Christmas the run of games we have got of Saturday-Tuesdays and we go against some of the sides you would expect to compete for promotion. We have to hit the ground running. We've got to continue to develop whilst winning.
“The players I won't say have been bombarded. We have to prioritise the bits that are important. There are things that have been in place that are good and we have to make sure we continue to improve on those things but just add bits.”
