Sheffield United 'agree' £2.5m deal to sign Celtic winger despite rival interest from Burnley
The 25-year-old has been in Celtic’s ranks for the entirety of his career, although the end of his lengthy association with the Scottish giants appears to be in sight.
According to reporter Alan Nixon on his Patreon page, Sheffield United have agreed a deal for the wideman worth up to £2.5m.

Hide AdHe is believed to have been targeted by Burnley, although the Blades appear to be in pole position to secure the Republic of Ireland international’s signature.
While most of his senior appearances have been made in the Scottish Premiership, Johnstone is already well-acquainted with the second tier of English football.
He joined West Bromwich Albion on loan in the winter window earlier this year and took to life in the Championship like a duck to water.


Thriving under the tutelage of Carlos Corberan, Johnston notched seven goals in 20 appearances as the Baggies marched into the Championship play-offs.
