Rotherham United and Sheffield Wednesday players forced off by drone

Rotherham United's Championship game against Sheffield Wednesday was held up up because of an unauthorised drone over the New York Stadium.

Referee Jarred Gillett stopped play after a couple of minutes to talk with the fourth official and a safety officer, who then discussed it with both benches.

Play continued, but stopped again after four minutes and 15 seconds, when the players were sent to the dressing room.

The match restarted after an 11-minute delay, even though the drone did not appear to have moved on.

The score was 0-0 at the time, but Jamie Lindsay headed the Millers in front a minute after the restart.
