Supercomputer forecasts League One table after wins for Barnsley & Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United blow

It was a weekend of mixed fortunes for League One’s Yorkshire clubs, Barnsley, Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United.

The Reds visited Bloomfield Road, leaving with three points after Marc Roberts struck to secure a 2-1 win in stoppage time. While it was not enough to elevate the club to a play-off position, they are only outside the top six on goal difference.

Huddersfield, meanwhile, made it back-to-back league wins with a 3-1 victory over Bristol Rovers. Matty Pearson, Callum Marshall and Bojan Radulovic were all on target for the hosts, while Isaac Hutchinson’s goal for the visitors proved a mere consolation.

Of League One’s three Yorkshire clubs, it was Rotherham who have struggled the most this season. The Millers have not exactly hit the ground running and fell to a 1-0 home defeat to Wrexham. The decisive goal, scored by Paul Mullin, hit the back of the net just 16 seconds after kick-off.

Elsewhere, high-flying Birmingham City saw off Lincoln City with a 3-1 win and Bolton Wanderers edged past Burton Albion on home turf.

Following the latest round of results, here is how the Football Web Pages supercomputer expects the final League One table to look.
