The 13 free agents from the Premier League still without a club - including ex-Manchester United, Everton, Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United men

It is nearly two months since the summer transfer window slammed shut.

The 2023/24 season is well underway but there are still lots of players in need of a new club.

When clubs publish their end-of-season retained lists, it provides an opportunity for other clubs to eye up targets and plot moves.

However, for various reasons, summer moves sometimes just do not materialise.

Some players find themselves on the free agent market after the window shuts, following failure to find a suitable buyer.

There are currently 13 players released by Premier League clubs who are yet to find pastures new.

The list includes experienced internationals and talented figures, all of whom are currently not under contract.
