When are the 2025 National League play-offs? Dates confirmed for York City and Halifax Town
Play-offs in the Conference Premier, North and South follow a different format to the Football League, with six teams taking place. Those in positions fourth to seventh play one-leg eliminators to take on second and third in one-off semi-finals. In each case, the team which finished highest in the table hosts the game.
York City and Halifax Town are at either end of the Conference play-off spots. The Minstermen will be hoping to avoid the play-offs as they sit second, seven points behind leaders Barnet after losing there on Tuesday, but with two games in hand.

The final of the competition is in Wembley in June.
At present only one team goes up automatically from the division and another via the play-offs, but there is lobbying for the Conference to get a third promotion spot.
Scarborough Athletic and Farsley Celtic are much more likely to be relegated from Conference North than to make its play-offs this season.
Scarborough are 17 points outside the top seven, Farsley second from bottom with Warrington Town, only a point behind, having a game in hand and far superior goal difference. Four teams are relegated.
