Leeds Rhinos complete Morgan Gannon deal to maintain feel-good factor
Leeds Rhinos have maintained their recent feel-good factor with the return of Morgan Gannon on a three-year contract.
The back-rower will rejoin his boyhood club at the end of the season after a brief spell in the NRL.
Gannon left Leeds for New Zealand Warriors last year but has been limited to just one appearance in his debut campaign.
"I'm looking forward to being back at the Rhinos in 2027," he said.
"I'm grateful for the opportunity I've had with the Warriors this year and am looking forward to helping the squad for the remainder of this season.
"I know the Rhinos are going well this season and wish them all the best for the rest of this campaign."
Gannon scored 14 tries in 73 games during his first stint at Headingley.
The 22-year-old has seen the Rhinos go from strength to strength since his departure, with Thursday's victory over Warrington Wolves strengthening their grip on top spot.

Brad Arthur, who recently committed to Leeds long-term, has welcomed the return of Gannon.
"Morgan is an outstanding young man who has shown a great deal of maturity already in his young career," said Arthur.
"The fact that he is one of our own, having come through our development pathway and knows our club, makes this a perfect fit for all of us.
"I know Morgan will be keen to pick up where he left off when he starts pre-season with us and it will be good to have him back around the boys.”"
