Leigh Leopards suffer suspension blow ahead of Hull KR trip
Jack Hughes will miss Leigh Leopards' trip to Hull KR through suspension.
The versatile back-rower, who has been filling in at centre recently, has become the latest player to be charged with 'unnecessary contact with a player who is injured or may be injured'.
The grade E offence occurred during Leigh's win over Bradford Bulls on Sunday.
Hughes – a virtual ever-present this year – has been hit with a three-match ban, which also rules him out of games against Toulouse Olympique and former club Warrington Wolves.
The Leopards will travel to Craven Park on Friday as one of Super League's form teams after making it six wins in seven at Odsal.
No other suspensions have been issued by the match review panel in the aftermath of round 14.
Bradford half-back Riley Dean and York Knights pair Toa Mata'afa and King Vuniyayawa were among the players hit with fines.
