Wakefield Trinity could be boosted by the return of six players for Salford trip
The quartet all featured for Wakefield Trinity Reserves in a 38-26 victory at Widnes Vikings Reserves last weekend.
Meanwhile, David Fifita and Danny Brough are also in contention after the pair returned to training on Monday with a decision due on their fitness later in the week.
“We will see how Dave runs this week again but he ran on Monday with Broughy,” revealed Trinity head coach Chris Chester.
“Chris Green is definitely back and Jordy Crowther and George King are back in, they both played reserve grade last weekend.
“Alex Walker will be back in as well, he also played reserve grade.
“They are two or three we won’t have; the likes of Ben Jones-Bishop and Ti Arona. We are unsure of Dave Fifita and were he stands just yet.”
Trinity will be without Joe Arundel for the remainder of the season after he ruptured his ACL just before the half-time interval in last Friday's defeat against Castleford Tigers.
Ryan Hampshire is also facing a spell on the sidelines after breaking his jaw against Castleford and is expected to miss the next six weeks.
