Wakefield Trinity prop Caleb Hamlin-Uele provides fitness latest ahead of play-offs
Caleb Hamlin-Uele has emphatically declared himself fit for Wakefield Trinity's play-off showdown with Leigh Leopards.
Daryl Powell had expressed doubt over the prop's fitness after he missed last week's trip to Leigh in the final round of the regular season with a knee issue.
But Hamlin-Uele has brushed aside those concerns ahead of Friday's knockout clash.
"I'll be good to go come Friday," he said following his official induction into the Super League Dream Team at Old Trafford.
"I just picked up a little thing on my knee against Warrington but it seems to be alright.
"I'm feeling good, probably the fittest I've ever felt in my whole career. I missed a lot of pre-season this year so it took me a little bit to get going but once I got going, I've been feeling amazing.
"It's going to be a big night. I'm just so grateful and happy that we could give back to our fans because they stuck with us through so many seasons when we didn't do so well. This is for them.
"I'm very excited. There's a big few weeks coming up. Hopefully we go well and we're back here."

Powell, meanwhile, is refusing to take Hamlin-Uele's availability for granted.
The Trinity boss has also adopted a cautious approach to Ky Rodwell's fitness after he missed out last week with a shoulder problem.
"We'll get Caleb through training this week," said Powell at Monday's Dream Team event. "If he gets through that, he'll be good to go.
"Ky looks okay. He's run today and will train tomorrow. If he gets through this week, he should be okay.

"I don't think we've picked anything fresh up so I'll have a couple of selection calls to make, assuming we get through this week okay."
Having both players available would be a boost as Trinity look to build on their first top-four finish in Super League and make the most of home advantage in the eliminators.
Hamlin-Uele has been a standout performer in his position this season, a fact underlined by his selection in the Dream Team.
"He's been right up there, obviously getting this accolade," said Powell. "He's been one of the better players not only in our team but the whole competition. He's deserved it.

"He's done an unbelievable job, alongside the coaches, of getting himself in great physical shape and then he's grown his game immeasurably over the last three years.
"Isaiah (Vagana) maybe could have been here. A few coaches have mentioned that to me today.
"But it's subjective. He can use that as extra motivation for the play-offs but he's probably the most humble guy in our team so I don't think he'll be moved by it. He'll just crack on doing what he's doing."
Hamlin-Uele was quick to acknowledge the journey behind his recognition.
"Now looking back at it, I guess it is a reward for the work I've put in," he said. "Not only me but my wife, who I owe a lot to.
"It's a real honour to be here. I'm just so blessed to be able to rub shoulders with some of the best players in the league.
"There are so many players who could have been in the Dream Team. I'm just so grateful to be here."
