Clyde Process clinches £1.1m solution contracts

ENGINEER Clyde Process Solutions has won two contracts worth a total of £1.1m.

Doncaster-based Clyde, which specialises in pneumatic processing systems, said the deals are with producers operating in the recycling and minerals markets.

The first, worth 800,000 with a waste recycling provider, will see CPS supply a solution with technologies such as storage silos, pneumatic conveying systems, bag dischargers and dosing injection sys-tems.

The UK project will be commissioned in two phases and is due to be completed in March next year.

The second order, for 300,000, is from an Egyptian minerals company for which CPS will supply a pneumatic conveying solution to transport calcium carbonate in their facility replacing existing, problematic mechanical bucket elevator systems.

The order is due to be commissioned in September.

Alex Stewart, chief executive of Clyde, said: "These two orders build on the positive start made in this new financial year."

Earlier this month Clyde won contracts worth 1.2m from the minerals and chemicals markets.
