Big names set to open stores in new centre

A CLUTCH of household names have signed up to open stores in a new Skipton shopping development.

Next, Pizza Express and Cotswold Outdoor have taken space in the £8.5m Albion Place scheme.

Clitheroe department store Dawson’s has also chosen Albion Place to locate its second shop.

Stephen Dawson, from Dawson’s the Department Store, said: “We have been looking at our next location for quite a while now and Albion Place ticks all the boxes for us.

“Skipton has a similar customer base to Clitheroe and we feel we can offer something new to its shoppers.”

Just two units remain to be taken at Albion Place which is expected to create around 150 jobs

Construction on the site is due to be completed by Christmas with shops opening before Easter 2014.
