Cricketer's wife'took own life'
The wife of former England cricketer Chris Broad took her own life as she deteriorated during a battle with motor neurone disease, Coroner Dr Nigel Chapman ruled yesterday.
Michelle Broad, 60, was found by her husband Chris at their home in West Bridgford, Nottingham, on July 6.
A syringe was found beside her and she had taken a fatal combination of drugs.
