Debut beats starsto top music charts
A performer's debut single has gone straight to number one in the UK charts.
London MC Tinie Tempah’s record Pass Out took the top spot yesterday, with Rihanna moving up one place to number two with Rude Boy. Last week’s number one, In My head by Jason Derulo, dropped to number three.
Another debut work by, singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding took top spot in the albums chart with Lights, which pushed aside Lady GaGa at number one.
