The pictures, taken by 52-year-old amateur photographer Kev Barwell, certainly warm the soul, and show two loved-up Gannets showing each other a little bit of affection on the east coast of Yorkshire.
Taken at RSPB Bempton, not far from Bridlington, where there is a huge breeding colony earlier in the year, these image show two of the sea birds with their wings wrapped around each other - as if embracing one another.
Kev said: "Gannets are my favourite of all sea birds.
