Stately home from different perspective
URBAN acrobats known as ‘freerunners’ staged a show at Harewood House which also incorporated martial arts, modern dance and athletic skills set to a soundtrack of modern and classical music.
The event, staged by Freerunning@, was held on Saturday and yesterday at the stately home.
Families brought picnics and chairs for the outdoor Games in the Park event.
The runners are on a tour of historic venues, which will include Wollaton Hall, Nottingham August 18 and Scone Palace, Perthshire, Scotland, over the weekend of August 25 and 26.
Freerunning@ is led by creative director Sam Parham, a Guinness World Record holder who was recently seen performing in Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides
