Memorial to tsunami dead unveiled
Earlier the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall laid a wreath at the opening of a memorial.

Hide AdThe names of the Britons killed in the disaster are engraved on the floor beneath the 115-tonne granite monolith that stands in the grounds of the museum in South Kensington. The horrifying events of Boxing Day, 2004, remain etched on the memories of people around the world. From Indonesia in the east to Somalia, the tsunami was complete in its destruction. More than 225,000 fell victim to the waves.
Hundreds of bereaved friends and family members gathered at the opening of the memorial.
