Blackpool v Huddersfield Town: Terriers strike duo finally ready to light the fuse
With 27 goals between them at that stage of the season, it was an understandable reaction.

Hence why the sight of the two completing last week’s defeat to Blackburn Rovers after linking up well in the final quarter after Vaughan had come off the bench was so encouraging for manager Mark Robins.
He said: “Last weekend was one of the first times that they have played together and they linked up well; it has the potential to be an explosive partnership.
“Danny Ward has done ever so well when he has been in there and the only thing missing from his game at the moment is goals. If we can get him hitting the target more often he will be a real handful.

Town head to the seaside today looking to pile on the misery for Blackpool. Barry Ferguson’s men may have won just once in 20 outings, a run that has left a club who not so long ago were in the Premier League in grave danger of being sucked into the relegation dogfight.
Robins added: “They started brilliantly under Paul (Ince, former manager) and he put together a squad of very good players.
“At the moment, they are scrapping at the bottom but they look close to turning their fortunes around.”
