Doncaster Rovers duo up for awards

O'Driscoll guided Rovers to within six points of the play-offs with four wins out of five last month.

Newcastle's Chris Hughton, Dave Jones of Cardiff and Billy Davies of Nottingham Forest are also up for the accolade which will be announced on Saturday on Sky Sports from 12pm.

Billy Sharp has scored in six consecutive games including the winner goals against Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol City and has already won the PFA Fan's player of the month award for December.

He has now been nominated for the Championship's player of the month which will be announced on Sky's Soccer AM show from 9am on Saturday.

Forest goalkeeper Lee Camp, Darren Pratley of Swansea City and Cardiff's Chris Burke have also been nominated.
