Gossip column (March 1): Leeds target Tom Rogic again | Huddersfield Town youngster faces big decision
Rogic was linked with a switch to Elland Road in January but the move never materialised with Celtic manager Ronny Deila urging him to sign a new contract.
In January, Deila said: “We want to sign a new contract with Tom and extend his stay here, I don’t think any Championship club is a step up from Celtic.
However, a deal is reportedly now possible as Deila admitted contract negotiations are still ongoing and the Glasgow giants may look to cash in with just 15 months left on Rogic’s contract.
Barnsley are eyeing up Fulham defender Shaun Hutchinson on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Hutchinson has has limited first-team opportunities under Slavisa Jokanovic at Craven Cottage and has not played since the middle of January.
The Tykes are also rumoured to be monitoring MK Dons’ Antony Kay who played 174 games for Barnsley between 2000 and 2007.
Huddersfield Town youngster Jordan Williams is reportedly a target for Newcastle United leaving him with a decision to make about his future.
The 16-year-old centre-half has been with the club since the age of nine and has featured for both the Under-18 and Under-21 sides this season.
