Hull City handed £25,000 fine following Birmingham City fracas - and could now be landed in further hot water by FA
HULL CITY and Birmingham City have been fined by the Football Association after admitting charges of misconduct from their game last month.
It was alleged both sides failed to ensure their players/technical area staff did not behave in an improper way in the 42nd minute of the Championship game.
Blues striker Jay Stansfield, Tigers forward Joe Gelhardt and two members of coaching staff were shown yellow cards by referee Ruebyn Ricardo after a fracas which was sparked by two challenges from either side.
Blues have been fined £115,000 – this represented their sixth breach of FA regulations regarding player behaviour since the start of 2024-25 - while Hull have been hit with a £25,000 punishment.

Unsavoury scenes at the end of Saturday's game at Stoke City could also see Hull land in hot water with the FA.
A player melee followed after the final whistle, which could result in a charge for both the Potters and Hull.
