Hull City transfer latest: Premier League club confirm departure of teenage midfielder to Greek giants
HULL CITY have confirmed the departure of Albanian under-21 midfielder Aidon Shehu to Greek Super League side Panathinaikos for an undisclosed fee.
According to reports, Hull will recoup a fee of around £2.6million for the teenager.
Proceeds from his departure, allied to the £6m fee from Glasgow Rangers for first-choice goalkeeper Ivor Pandur, appear to have averted any lingering fears regarding profit and sustainability (PSR) concerns.
The sales will ensure that City remained fully compliant within PSR rules over a three-year accounting window ending on June 30.

The Premier League newcomers were pitted in a race against time to raise £6million before the end of June in order to avoid breaching PSR rules over a three-year registered period - and potentially incurring a points deduction in the Premier League in 2026-27. PSR criteria allow clubs operating in the Championship to lose up to £39million over a three-year cycle.
Shehu, 19, first joined the club’s under-18 side in August 2024 from Southend United.
The highly-regarded young schemer scored in a 4-3 victory over Charlton Athletic in the Under-18 Professional Development League season opener and signed his first professional contract ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
An ever-present for Conor Sellars’ side, his eye-catching performances saw him named on the first-team bench three times for the Championship fixtures against Blackburn Rovers, Bristol City and Charlton.
Shehu ended last season by gaining senior experience on loan with National League North outfit Scarborough Athletic.
