Hull City v Portsmouth: Sergej Jakirovic keen to use Pompey's 'stress' against them in Championship clash
Portsmouth have not won in over a month - and Hull City boss Sergej Jakirovic wants to use their “stress” to beat them.
John Mousinho’s men last tasted victory on October 4, edging past Middlesbrough at Fratton Park.
Points have since been hard to come by, with Pompey having picked up a draw on each side of three straight defeats.
Tigers boss Jakirovic is not the type to underestimate but is hoping to take advantage of the recent struggles in Hampshire.

Sergej Jakirović’s Portsmouth view
"if you watch against Wrexham, they played a little big pragmatic,” he said. “Even with five behind, 5-4-1, something they do especially in their own half, they try to press normally with 4-3-3.
"They have a good team. I watched their game against Leicester and they played an equal game. I expect a more pragmatic game on Saturday.
“It's always my opinion it's [about] concentration on us and how we will be. We play at home, they're under pressure for sure, we will try to use their stress and negative results to beat them. We will do everything to get three points."

Midweek setback
Hull suffered a setback of their own in midweek, losing 2-1 to Derby County at Pride Park.
"I think that we have played good, especially second half,” Jakirovic said. “We created a few chances.
"After one misunderstanding, we conceded a second goal. And also the first goal as well, we watched the clips and we can stop this for sure. Better set-up, better concentration with the player and attacking the ball.
"But okay, this is football. Sometimes, we score some goals after mistakes. We're looking forward, the players are positive and optimistic and we have to continue. The last seven games, we have played really good, and I hope we will continue like this.”
