'We all want more' - Leeds United star Tarik Muharemović shares message after Sunderland stalemate

Tarik Muharemović has shared a message following Leeds United’s goalless draw with Sunderland

Tarik Muharemović has insisted the fact Leeds United “want more” following their draw with Sunderland is what makes the club special.

Daniel Farke’s side battled their way to a goalless draw at the Stadium of Light on Sunday (October 25), finding attacking rhythm difficult to come by in trying weather conditions.

It was their fifth draw of the season and one that kept the Whites seventh in the Premier League table.

Tarik Muharemović’s message

Posting on Instagram, defender Muharemović said: “We all want more, and that’s what makes this club and our fans so special! Thank you for your incredible support week in, week out. It really means a lot to us!

“We take the positives from the result and look ahead to the next one. MOT.”

Leeds will be back in action on Saturday (October 31), keen to find more attacking inspiration on the road at AFC Bournemouth.

Daniel Farke on Leeds United draw

After his side’s stalemate in Sunderland, Whites boss arke said: “It was one of those days where you have to accept that you can't shine that much football-wise.

“We more or less had to dig in and grind out the result and fight for second balls and show steal. This is what we did.

“In our situation, second year back at Premier League level, to travel back with the point and also with the clean sheet, it's always a good result.

“I think it's also fair to say that you could see that we had a difficult training week offensive-wise because several offensive players just back on the training pitch on Saturday in our final session, not before, we could hardly work on our processes.”
