Levi Sutton set to be eased back after injury by Bradford City

Levi Sutton is back from injury but Bradford City will be wary of asking too much too soon of him at home to Crawley.

The midfielder has not featured since the win at Colchester United in last March, but joint manager Conor Sellars suggested he would resist the temptation to pitch him straight back into the XI.

“Levi's a player who's done really well for us and we're delighted to welcome him back but it's important we do what's best for Levi and transition him back in,” he said.

Callum Cooke is around a week away from returning, and the Bantams have not given up hope of centre-forward Lee Novak playing again this season.

“He's with the physios doing work on the grass when the players who are fit are training,” said Sellars.

“Hopefully we can get him back before the end of the season and that would be a real bonus.”

Bradford go into the game three points outside the play-off places. The Football League have today announced the dates of those games.
