Wycombe Wanderers v Sheffield Wednesday: Henrik Pedersen enthused by hunger in his 'growing' Owls side
Sheffield Wednesday’s trip to Wycombe Wanderers previewed as Henrik Pedersen hails his side’s hunger
Wycombe Wanderers are set to host a “growing” Sheffield Wednesday side – and one with an insatiable appetite for goals.
The Owls ran riot at the weekend, putting on a clinic as they tore a lacklustre Bromley side to bits at Hillsborough.
7-2 was the final scoreline and Wednesday’s relentless nature was particularly pleasing for manager Henrik Pedersen.

Henrik Pedersen hails Sheffield Wednesday hunger
“I think the attitude in general has been very, very strong,” he said. “But I could feel after 1-0 they want more, they want 2-0.
"After 3-0 they want 4-0, and this hunger that they keep on was amazing, and that's also why we were all disappointed for the last 10-12 minutes, for the two goals we gave away, because it's not necessary.”
Confidence was evidently coursing through the veins of those in blue and white shirts, something supporters were not accustomed to seeing last season.
“I think for all people in the world it means something to have confidence,” he said. “We have to understand that the basic confidence comes because we did all the basic things right first, and then we grow offensively and then we create a lot, and they are looking sharp right now, so it's good.
"I see a team generally that is growing and it's making me happy.”

Kieran Morrison carefully managed
On-loan Liverpool winger Kieran Morrison was benched for the Bromley clash, with the decision made to ensure he was fresh for tonight’s trip to Adams Park.
"Kieran deserved to be in the starting XI,” explained Pedersen. “But we had a conversation, his running stats and what he did in the last game was so high, that we would not put him in, we took the risk out and said okay, he could play 30-35 minutes, and then he'll be fresh for Tuesday.
"Then he has got a good beginning without any risk, so it was the reason why he was not in the starting XI.”
