Barnsley will be looking to continue their push for the play-offs in 2021, after an excellent end to last year which saw the side win a grand total of six matches in December – taking scalps including Huddersfield Town and Birmingham City in the process.

If that has boosted morale at Oakwell, so will the signing of striker Carlton Morris from Norwich City.

It may not stop there for the Tykes though, with a link to more forwards including an ex-Aston Villa man, though competition may be fierce among Championship clubs.

He is also the second Whites player on loan at Valley Parade this season, and joint interim manager Mark Trueman was grateful for recalling Stevens from Swindon Town and allowing him to join Bryce Hosannah.

“Jordan is someone we have been monitoring closely for a while, now, and we are delighted to have got his signing completed,” he said.
