Yorkshire Squash League: Pontefract routed by newly-crowned champions Chapel Allerton
Having clinched the trophy last week, the Leeds club made it four wins in a row and then heard that Reward were going to sponsor them again next season.

Parke, the former world No 3, helped his club to their convincing victory with a 3-0 drubbing of Lewis Doughty at number four.
Declan Christie, voted Chapel Allerton’s Player of the Season, had got the Leeds outfit off to the perfect start with a 3-1 victory over 14-year-old Sam Todd, the US Junior Open Under-15 champion.
In between, Stuart MacGregor overcame Alex Hodgetts 3-1. After Owain Taylor had succumbed 3-0 to Neil Cordell, Mark Fuller closed proceedings by outclassing Taminder Gata Aura in straight games.

Hide AdPontefract now face a battle to hang on to third place, as Barnsley trail them by only seven points with one round to go following their 20-4 home demolition of Queens this week.
Joel Makin, Chris Fuller, Miles Jenkins, Tom Bamford and Phil Bowker completed a clean sweep, defeating Patrick Rooney 3-0, Matt Sidaway 3-1, Connor Sheen 3-1, David Hymas and Lewis Scott 3-2 respectively.
At the other end of the table, Abbeydale 2nds look certain to finish bottom after they crashed 19-4 at Pontefract 2nds and Abbeydale’s first team overpowered Hull and East Riding 19-7.
Abbeydale 1sts moved level with eighth-placed Hull and ER thanks to wins from Guhan Sethikumar, Oli Turner, Murray Scott and Tom Turner over Yusef Forster (3-0), Fiona Moverley (3-1), Glyn Saunders (3-2) and Farouk Forster (3-1). Harry Falconer prevented a whitewash by beating Kyle Finch 3-2.

Hide AdMeanwhile at Pontefract, the home side’s match-winners were Adam Taylor, Matt Godson, Ben Sockett and Millen Randell, who defeated Phil Scully (3-0), Nick King (3-0), James Biggin (3-0) and Mark Tasker (3-1). Sam Watts scored Abbeydale 2nds’ consolation success by edging out Sam Watts 3-2.
