Under the Licensing Act 2003, interested parties and responsible authorities can make representations if they believe the proposed activities could undermine one or more of the four licensing objectives.

Details of the application can be viewed on the council’s public licensing register or inspected by appointment at Halifax Town Hall during normal office hours.

Any representations regarding the application must be submitted in writing to the council by Friday (May 22).

The notice also states that knowingly or recklessly making a false statement in connection with a licensing application is an offence punishable by a fine of up to £5,000 on summary conviction.
