Former Sheffield Wednesday, Middlesbrough and Bradford City man remains in free agent uncertainty after trial
The 31-year-old has been unattached since the end of the 2023/24 season, when he was released by West Bromwich Albion after three years at the club.
Considering he has spent almost the entirety of his career in the Championship, many fans have been left surprised by his prolonged search for a new club.

Hide AdHe was training with Swansea earlier this month, but the club’s head coach confirmed last week he was no longer being looked at. Former Hull City and Middlesbrough defender Cyrus Christie, however, is still training with the Swans.

Williams said: “Adam Reach is not training with us anymore. It was great to have him with us, but we have moved on from there. Cyrus Christie is still training with us so as soon as I can give you a further update, I will do.”
Reach now faces the task of finding an alternative challenge, with the 2024/25 campaign approaching the end of its third month.
A veteran of the EFL, Reach started his career with Middlesbrough and made 77 appearances for the club. During his time at the Riverside, be spent time on loan at Bradford.

Hide AdHe is perhaps best known for his five years with Sheffield Wednesday, during which he amassed 230 appearances in all competitions.
Discussing his free agency with the Football League Paper earlier this month, Reach said: "I'd go down, I'd go sideways, I'd go everywhere.
“The whole world is an option for me right now. I think I'm just shy of 400 games in the Championship, but I'm not naive enough to think that I deserve to be in the Championship just because I've played there for the last 10 years or whatever.
"If there's an opportunity that comes up pretty much anywhere, I'd jump at the chance. I'm quite lean and naturally fit. Apart from last season when I tore my quad, I've never had any major injuries. In my opinion, I could play for another six, seven, eight years minimum. I just need someone to pick up the phone."
