Huddersfield Town 'set' to sign ex-Bradford City and Rangers man Jak Alnwick from Cardiff City
Experienced goalkeeper Jak Alnwick is reportedly set to complete a permanent move from Cardiff City to Huddersfield Town.
It has been a tough season to date for the 32-year-old, who has not made a single appearance for the Bluebirds.
He has not even made the bench since the opening weekend of the League One season, with Nathan Trott and Matthew Turner above him in the pecking order.
It now appears he is set to depart for Yorkshire, with Huddersfield seemingly his destination.

Jak Alnwick ‘set’ for Huddersfield Town switch
According to Wales Online, the former England youth international is set to complete a permanent switch to the Accu Stadium.
Cardiff boss Brian Barry-Murphy recently confirmed that while Alnwick was training with the squad, he was generating interest from elsewhere.
A move to Huddersfield would mark a return to Yorkshire for Alnwick, who had a brief loan spell at Bradford City in 2015.
A product of Sunderland and Newcastle United’s academies, he has also represented the likes of Rangers and Blackpool.
Huddersfield Town’s goalkeeping stable
If Alnwick does indeed arrive at Huddersfield, doubts over the future of Owen Goodman will only intensify.
The 22-year-old was signed on loan from Crystal Palace in the summer, with the expectation he would be the club’s number one.
However, Terriers stalwart Lee Nicholls has put up a fight and is currently Lee Grant’s stopper of choice.

In a recent interview, Grant said: "Right now, I’ve got to say, I’ve been delighted with Lee, so that’s going to put Owen in a situation where he’s going to be frustrated and perhaps looking at ‘how can I affect my situation?’ - because you have to be selfish about your own career and situation.
“Me and Owen are in constant conversation, in all honesty, on how that looks and how that will play out, and I’ve got to be fair to Owen, and I’ve also got to be right by what’s right for us as a football club.
"So again, it probably falls into that category of a situation that I’m alive to and ready to react if and when necessary."
