Sheffield United player ratings: One magnificent grade for hat-trick hero at Preston
HERE are the Sheffield United player ratings from Tuesday night’s Championship game against Preston North End at Deepdale.
Cooper: One edgy moment early on. Safe handling late on. 6
Choudhury: Poor in the first 20 minutes alongside Chong down the right. Certainly better after. 6
Tanganga: On message in main. Him and McGuinness will not have been happy with Preston’s second, that said. 6
McGuinness: Overcame some early hesitancy, but Lang’s strike opened him and Tanganga up. 6
Burrows: Him and Donovan were at it on the left for most of the game. 7
Chong: Very weak in the challenge ahead of opener. 6
Peck: Three goals. Match-ball. Not much else to say. His second was magnificent. 9
Riedewald: First league start since September 5. Got with it eventually. 6
Donovan: Busy, bright, energetic, willing. Set up the killer third. 8
Cannon: Back on familiar turf. Worked hard for the team up top. 6
Brereton-Diaz: No goal bonus, but kept going. Clever assist for second. 7
