Thousands of music fans are destined to dance the weekend away as Hull plays host to Radio 1s Big Weekend.
The two-day festival, which has been hit by some rain on Saturday, will see 50,000 music fans gather at Burton Constable Hall near Hull to see acts including Katy Perry, Kings Of Leon, Bastille, Lorde, Kasabian and Little Mix. Here are some of the best images and videos from the opening afternoon.
