Barnsley FC and Luton Town hit with fines after 'mass confrontation' in League One clash
The FA have confirmed fines for Barnsley and Luton Town
Barnsley and Luton Town have each been fined £13,500 following the heated end to their League One meeting last month.
The clubs did battle at Kenilworth Road on October 20 and the Hatters emerged as 2-1 victors. Ex-Reds dedender Mads Andersen and former Bradford City forward Nahki Wells netted for the hosts, while Makenzie Kirk notched for the visitors.
There was a melee in the closing stages of the game after Amani Richards was booked for diving by referee Carl Brook.

Barnsley and Luton Town fined
An FA spokesperson said: “Luton Town and Barnsley have been sanctioned for the mass confrontation at their EFL League One match on Tuesday, October 20.
“It was alleged that both clubs failed to ensure that their players and/or technical area staff did not behave in a way which was improper and/or provocative after the full-time whistle.
“Luton Town and Barnsley subsequently admitted the charges and an independent regulatory commission imposed a £13,500 fine on both clubs.”
