Huddersfield Town boss Lee Grant issues Joe Low, Lynden Gooch and Alfie May injury updates
Huddersfield Town boss Lee Grant has issued injury updates ahead of his side’s clash with Plymouth Argyle.
The Terriers will be back in league action this on Saturday (November 8) after exiting the FA Cup and advancing in the Vertu Trophy.
Arresting the League One slump is the club’s priority, with Grant’s men winless in their last three outings.
However, Huddersfield’s manager has injuries to contend with as he prepares to do battle with Plymouth boss Tom Cleverley.

Joe Low update
Defender Joe Low is set to be absent following a scan on a calf problem, although could return after the international break.
Grant said: “Joe won’t be with us for the weekend. He has had a scan and it’s not gone the way we’d have liked. The international break should help him in that we don’t expect him to miss too many more league fixtures for us. But this one will come too soon. [It’s a] calf injury.”
Lynden Gooch latest
Versatile wideman Lynden Gooch, however, could feature and will be monitored in the coming days.
Grant said: “Lynden hasn’t trained with us yet so it’s going to be touch and go. We are hopeful on Lynden. We’ve obviously got a couple of training days, so we’ll see how we go and progress over the next 48 hours and whether or not we can have Lynden involved.”

Alfie May blow
Grant also confirmed an injury blow for Alfie May, although the marksman would have missed out through suspension anyway having been dismissed against Wycombe Wanderers last month.
He said: “[It is] incredibly unlucky really, in terms of it’s the one game Alfie’s had his eyes on and was really looking forward to playing.
“Obviously, he can’t play the next couple of league fixtures for us. But he was not able to complete training on Monday, not back on the grass with us today.
“Again, we are hopeful by some stage next week he’ll be back out training. It’s a lower leg issue, we don’t think it’s one that’s going to linger. It’s a strange one, in all honesty.
“It wasn’t one that came about via a tackle, we think it’s probably more of a nerve issue. Again, we’re hopeful it’s something that won’t linger around for too much longer.”
Low and May have joined the likes of Jack Whatmough, Antony Evans and Zepiqueno Redmond on Huddersfield’s lengthy list of absentees.
