Exclusive:'I don't doubt' - Lee Sharpe makes Harry Gray prediction after move from Leeds United to Sheffield Wednesday
Lee Sharpe has shared a prediction regarding Sheffield Wednesday’s on-loan Leeds United prodigy Harry Gray
Harry Gray will start forcing his way into the Leeds United first-team upon the conclusion of his loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday, believes ex-Whites and England winger Lee Sharpe.
Leeds loaned Gray to the Owls in the summer transfer window, handing him another League One challenge having sent him to Rotherham United in January.
The 17-year-old has since made four appearances in Wednesday colours, missing their last three games due to the concussion protocol.

Lee Sharpe makes Harry Gray prediction
Gray has been tipped for a bright future in LS11 and Sharpe believes he could be having his final loan spell away from Elland Road.
When asked if this could be Gray’s last temporary stint, Sharpe told The Yorkshire Post: “I would guess so, yeah, [with], the quality of him. I think it's important that young lads go out on loan, especially from Premier League clubs.
“I think sometimes it can be a bit of a baptism of fire trying to get them into the Premier League and up to the pace of thought as much as the pace of play. You know, there's so many top, top players that have been out on loan before they actually cracked the Premier League.
“I think it's going to do him a world of good down at Sheffield Wednesday and I think he'll come back a better player and I don't doubt that once he comes back to Leeds, then he'll start edging his way into the first team.”
Harry Gray’s career to date
Gray made his senior debut for Leeds in April 2025, stepping off the bench in a 6-0 Championship rout of Stoke City.
He is well thought of at Elland Road, but Leeds’ promotion to the Premier League intensified competition for places in Daniel Farke’s squad.

The versatile attacker linked up with Rotherham in January and showed plenty of promise, even if he could not save the Millers from relegation to League Two.
In July, regarding his Leeds ambitions, Gray told BBC Radio Sheffield: “Obviously I'd love that (to play in the Premier League with Leeds), but who knows what's going to happen? Leeds could go win the league or whatever, be in the Champions League.
“Then I guess I wouldn’t be playing, but who knows? A year is a long time in football. Right now, all I care about is getting promoted here.”
