Lifeline funding to support treasured landscapes across Yorkshire's National Parks must be the start of a "new deal" with greater powers to protect their futures, campaigners have warned.
The leader of the body managing the Yorkshire Dales National Park says the greatest challenge it is faces will be in balancing the rising number of visitors with their impact on climate change, nature, farming and land management.
