Lord Darzi’s recently published independent review of the NHS in England made for stark reading, where he described the NHS as being in a ‘critical condition’. In response, the Health Secretary Wes Streeting has outlined three critical changes to help improve our nation’s healthcare system: moving care from hospital to community; transitioning from analogue to digital; and evolving from treatment to prevention.
