James is The Yorkshire Post's rugby league correspondent, a position he has held since April 2022. His first year on the job saw him report extensively on the Rugby League World Cup. James primarily covers Yorkshire's six Super League clubs, but also reports and writes well-informed opinion pieces on all matters affecting rugby league, from the new investment into the top of the game to concerns about player welfare across the sport. Prior to joining The Yorkshire Post, James worked for the Press Association and the Hull Daily Mail.
